Psalm 103:8 (NIV)
“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.”

Salvation is personal. One day, each of us will stand before God and give an account of our lives—but we do so knowing He is both just and full of mercy.
Whether we attend church or not, pray every day or not, tithe or don’t tithe, evangelise, watch sermons, or read our Bible—none of these things can replace a genuine relationship with God. At the same time, these practices can help guide us closer to Him when they come from the right heart.
It’s not always a comfortable thought. And yet, people often wonder why some Christians choose to step back and reconnect with God in a more personal way.
Instead of calling people sensitive or looking at others’ sins with disgust, we are invited to first examine our own hearts—with humility, not shame.
The Bible reminds us that connecting with God is not about performance, but about sincerity. Jesus spoke about going into a quiet place to pray, away from the noise and attention—not to isolate us, but to draw us into something real.
Just because you are not the loudest voice in church does not mean God cannot hear you. He listens to quiet, honest prayers just as much.
God looks at the heart—and He meets us there with both truth and grace.
Find a quiet space and start small—maybe just five minutes of prayer each day. There’s no pressure to get it perfect. Over time, you may find those moments naturally grow.
Five minutes with a sincere heart can be just as meaningful as an hour. It’s not about the length of the prayer, but the posture of the heart.
Fellowship with others is important—we were never meant to walk this journey alone. But your personal, quiet time with God is where your relationship is nurtured and strengthened.
Start today. Speak to God honestly. You don’t always need someone else to help you connect with Him—but you are never meant to walk completely alone either.
We have been given the Holy Spirit, not because we’ve earned it, but because we are loved—regardless of our title or position.
And if no one has told you this:
You are deeply loved by the Most High. And nothing about your journey is unseen by Him.
